I have a 97-99 minute 2D version of 'Treasure' recorded from the HBO broadcasts during the 80's. This version features footage that is not in my field sequential 3D VHS tape i bought around 1993. The missing scenes involve Striker going to a circus to rope Socrates and Liz into joining the heist. There's also an extended sequence after the tabletop planning scene, after Srtiker says " It was nothing unless...unless you believe in ghosts" and before Jonas' masked follower bangs the gong. I was too young to remember if these scenes were in the theatrical release, so were they? Are these scenes available in the import 3D DVD's that show up on ebay? |

There indeed are two different cuts of the movie. Ditto for "Comin At Ya!". The 3DTV Corp field-sequential version (which has now been copied to countless DVD ebay versions) is the shorter cut. |

Robert, You are correct. The field sequential version once sold by 3DTV Corp was a direct port from the Japanese VHD disc, but with the subtitles masked out. (Message edited by GregK on January 22, 2007) |
