Excuse me if this has already been posted. I did a search with no results. I was wondering if anyone had any technical information on Dolby Digital Cinema. I just read about it the other day when I was looking for a theater to see the Nightmare Before Christmas in 3d. Has anyone seen this movie? | ||

Dolby is running licence for Infitec projection technology. I didn't know anyone in the US was using it yet. It is sort of a 3 color anaglyph, making true full color images with each eye, but each eye gets 3 slightly different colors. http://www.infitec.net/infi_e.html | ||

Interesting... This is a fantastic website by-the-way. I'm not sure how many theaters are set-up to use this technology in the US. It seems that this movie is playing in several theaters in minneapolis. This is really exciting news for me. I've been waiting for stereoscopic 3D to mature for years. If Dolby 3D catches on we may say a rapid development in the 3D equipment. Thanks so much. |
