I added a new Do-It-Yourself section on the V-Rtifacts site and a detailed guide for building your own (wireless) head tracker from a Gyration Air Mouse.

As noted by prior posters, it is only 2DOF, but for many applications that works fine. I've also addressed the issue of drift... again not perfect, but adequate for some applications.

Nice little hack... And unlike most of my vintage stuff it uses USB which is definitely an advantage over serial port. Excellent work on this one.
