I am looking for someone to design and integrate a prototype device that will interface with LCD shutter glasses. If there are any electrical engineers here with this kind of experience, please contact me if you are interested in consulting on this project. Pay rate negotiable. Hard to understand what you really want. basically LCD shutter glasses are terrible "dumb" devices, basically all the can do is apply a current o the left or right eye, resulting in "blackening" of the relevant eye. So all you could ever do with shutter glasses that makes sense would be synchronizing them with the screen refresh rate. I can't really imagine what you would like to have developed, if it is a converter box for synchronizing the shutter glasses with a video source it would be kinda re-inventing the wheel. There are already many systems on the market - take this one for example: http://www.edimensional.com/product_info.php?products_id=39&osCsid=40580e527eda6dc9d2a76d0e9628caaf This is the e-dimensional shutterglasses with wireless infrared control included rechargable battery, a control box with infrared sender, power adaptor and all cables for less than 60 USD - and that is an end consumer price. Whatever you want to develop - i would first estimate that your future product will really be able to withstand the competition, shutterglasses became so ridiculous inexpensive and the demand is quite low - i think it is really hard to create a new product with serious chances of survival. |

Rest assured, my application requires a new design that I would be happy to discuss in private : ) |
